Black Carpet: Humayun Saeed & Adnan Siddiqui launch Cast and Crew in partnership with J.

The brand label J. is synonymous with class, elegance and sophisticated charm. With a successful run spanning over two decades (the brand was established in 2002), the label has built upon its philosophy to revive and popularize eastern wear, especially shalwar kameez. Over the years, J. has not only won over the South East Asian market as a household fashion label but its success has reached a global scale. From a brand that began with a firm belief in Soully East, J. has grown by leaps and bounds. Following its triumphant journey in the fashion business, 2022 marks the year when J. adds an amazing new collaboration to its roster of achievements. The label has introduced a new clothing brand — Cast and Crew — in partnership with powerhouses of entertainment industry, Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui. For multi-hyphenate stars like Humayun and Adnan, who can act, direct, produce, play an instrument (in Adnan’s case), the next best thing is to launch a brand of their own. And just like their off-screen larger-than-life personas, the two superstars humbly describe the essence of living in the spotlight and recognize the efforts of their peers as they have named their first fashion-forward venture Cast and Crew.

Cast and Crew represents Humayun and Adnan’s sense of style with a great variety of clothing and accessories. To celebrate this union and their new enterprise, Chairman J. Sohail Hamid Khan along with Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui organized a black carpet event in Karachi within the premises of Frere Hall with the beautifully lit Venetian building in the background. The star studded event buzzed with entertainment industry’s finest, government officials, cricketers, models and influencers. Bilal Abbas Khan, Feroze Khan, Hania Aamir, Fahad Mustafa, Shoaib Malik, Aijaz Aslam, Ahsan Khan, Ushna Shah, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Iqra Aziz, Mohib Mirza, Nida Yasir, Yasir Nawaz, Amir Adnan were amongst the attendees. The magnanimous party seemed apt for an occasion that celebrated friendship turning into a successful business venture.

HSY was the host of the night while Anwer Maqsood was present to share words of wisdom, followed by a Q&A session with the superstar duo. Celebrities, all dressed in formal black attire, made the most of the memorable night with a lot of fun activities on stage. The event wrapped up with the national anthem to commemorate 23rd March.
