Promotions for Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan’s debut film Dum Mastam are in full swing. The trailer launch of the film was a star-studded affair and now the first song Larki Achari has been released at another fun-filled event creating more anticipation and excitement.

Launched as the wedding song for the season, Larki Achari, featuring the lead couple lives up to the claim. Considering Amar’s energetic nature, one knew she can set fire to the stage/screen but Imran’s performance came as a complete surprise.
Sung by Shiraz Uppal and Neha Chaudhary, the lyrics have been penned by late Shakeel Sohail. While the song itself has a catchy desi beat, the choreography by Nigah jee is contagious and remains the highlight of the vibrant video.
The characters, Bao and Alia, seem to be part of a wedding celebration where the “Masalaydaar Jugalbandi” takes place. The song also features a segment of the traditional tune Chitta Kukkar without which weddings, especially in Punjab, are incomplete.
Larki Achari is vibrant, showcasing the colors of Punjab and the choreography guarantees to make you want to dance along making it the perfect shaadi track. Amar and Imran also share an interesting chemistry which was evident in the trailer.
Imran makes a very hero-like entry in the song and his overall look proves that he’s fit for the role of a Punjabi romantic hero!
As for Amar, through Dum Mastam, she has proved that she is an all rounder, be it writing acting or dancing! We wouldn’t be surprised to find she has sung a few songs for the movie too.
Dum Mastam has been directed by Mohammed Ehteshammuddin, who has previously directed Superstar. The film also features Kiran Malik, Momin Saqib, Saleem Mairaj, Arslan Naseer, Saife Hasan, Uzma Beg, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Sohail Ahmed, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Shah Tipu, Faiza Gillani, and many more.
