Ayesha Omar has been associated to comedy play
Bulbulay for so long that many of her fans have almost forgotten how it felt like to watch her in a serious setting. Though the actress has been signing and shooting for film projects based on serious subjects for the last few years, none of these films have so far released. But we have a good news; Ayesha has signed a new drama serial for Hum TV.
Ayesha took to Instagram and posted a series of shot video clips featuring her along with her long-time best friend and co-actor Azfar Rehman. She introduced them as an on-screen couple who will be the leads in an upcoming drama titled
Bisaat.
“Here we go again, Always a riot, always a party,” she wrote and mentioned that this is happening six years later.
Directed by Fahim Burney, the project will mark Ayesha and Azfar’s reunion after six years. The two had a terrible accident in real life back in 2015 and since then their names always remind fans of that fateful day. Though Ayesha has been working in a sitcom,
Bulbulay, for many years, her last TV serial was with Azfar.
Azfar Rehman can be currently seen in
Doar on Geo Entertainment and
Aakhir Kab Tak on HUM TV.
