After many speculations, Bilal Ashraf has finally revealed that he is making his television debut with Maya Ali in an upcoming drama serial.
The actor took to Instagram and posted a picture of a clapperboard which had details of his debut drama. Titled
Yuonhi, the drama is by MD productions and will air on HUM TV. The tags on his post further revealed that Maya Ali is his co-star while Ehteshamuddin is the director.
While Bilal caption the picture as his first attempt ‘Pehla’, Maya also posted a picture of first episode from the script and wrote Bismillah for new beginnings.
While we don’t know much about the story and their characters, the two have paired up earlier for many photoshoots and are also the brand ambassadors of Quetta Gladiators during Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Bilal has a number of films in his filmography including
Janaan, Yalghaar, Rangreza, 021 and
Superstar. He has previously worked with Ehteshamuddin on
Superstar and has also worked in a telefilm
Aik Hai Nigar for television. But after many years in the industry, he has now decided to work in his first drama serial.
We are looking forward to see their chemistry on small screen.
