Bilal Lashari’s magnum opus The Legend of Maula Jatt is all set to see the light of day on 13th October 2022. The film will be released in theaters all across Pakistan tomorrow after being surrounded by many speculations and controversies.
Starring Fawad Khan in the role of the legendary Maula Jatt and Hamza Ali Abbasi as his arch nemesis, Noori Natt, the film reimagines cinema’s greatest rivalry. The ensemble cast also features Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shafqat Cheema and Nayyer Ejaz.
The film’s first look teaser was released in 2019; following many speculations and controversies, even four years later, the film has managed to remain one of the most anticipated Pakistani movies ever. The teaser received a thunderous response for its exceptional star cast, engrossing characters, cinematic grandeur and top notch production value.

The film is produced by Ammara Hikmat under the joint venture of Encyclomedia & Lashari films in association with AAA Motion Pictures. The filmmakers have partnered with Geo Films as their presenting partner. The film will be locally distributed by Nadeem Mandviwalla of Mandviwalla Entertainment.
