Despite facing a pandemic and financial crisis, Pakistani drama industry is thriving and it is evident from the number of drama serial that were produced this year or are due to air next year. We have seen a number of short films and telefilms as well that have raised the bar of quality content. Another project that is exciting to look forward to is Hajra Yamin and Fahad Sheikh starrer
Wonderland.
Director Sohail Javed took to Instagram to announce that he has wrapped the spell of the shoot for
Wonderland.
“Presenting Wonderland a Sj Film Production, Alhumdulilah spell wrap up for our new baby with Green, starring Fahad Sheikh and Hajra Yamin, written by Rida Bilal. See you all soon,” he wrote.
Writer Rida Bilal, who has previously written for Mehreen Jabbar as well, also thanked Sohail Javed on social media.
“Alhamdulillah. Time to carve some new paths. Thank you for trusting me with this Sohail Javed. This will probably be one of the most memorable projects for me since this was my Covid baby. Started pre Covid, wrapped up in Covid and recovery. Turns out, when you have to choose between writing and breathing, just write. The former has your lungs, the latter has your heart. And that’s just about enough.”
The writer also shared that the drama has been spread over 13 episodes and will air on Green TV.
