A new decade at least calls for some changes in makeup trends and while the good-old cat-eye or glittery eyeshades are not gone for good, there is always room for some colour in our makeup bags. If you are hesitant to try something bold as a popping eye shade or a neon colour, then fret not as many stars have sported the trend and made style statements without causing any social media frenzy!
So, feel inspired by these beauties and try out some of these colourful hues on your lids this summer. Especially, when there are fewer people to judge, all thanks to social isolation and less get-togethers.

Allure, magenta is the most-searched colour on the internet so it deserves a space in our beauty kits. Florence Pugh, was recently seen at a
Black Widow event sporting the bright shade and looking oh so ravishing! Selena Gomez experimented with it as well. Locally, Sonya Hussyn was seen wearing a pink-red shade at an awards night recently. So, we expect many more will follow suit this summer.

It is not just the Korean pop idols anymore who are trying out new eyeshades and liners. Like Blackpink’s Rosé, Gigi Hadid was also seen using green eyeliner in a funky fashion over her lids.
And if you’re not convinced yet, then Lizzo has aced the neon green shadow with some glitter.

Embrace the serenity and peace embodied by the colour blue by wearing the soothing shade; whether you like it in lighter tones, just like Lilly Collins, or you prefer to wear a deeper version like Gigi.
Colour me Sunshine
Yellow and orange are the colours that represent the sun, and thus they signify positive energy and warmth. The shade will instantly boost your mood and glam up any boring look. Look at Gigi who used it to brighten up the inner corners of her eyes. Gemma Chen also looked beautiful in a multi-coloured eyeshadow, or take a look at Eman Suleman who gave it her own disco twist.
