In pictures: Inside Areeba Habib’s star-studded Shendi

Model Areeba Habib’s wedding wrapped up with a combo of shaadi and mehndi i.e. a grand Shendi ceremony. The glamourous evening was a star-studded event, attended by her close friends from the entertainment industry as well as other notable guests.

Areeba looked gorgeous in a heavily-embellished muted gold ensemble by Shehla Chatoor. The floor length kameez was paired with a voluminous lehenga with ruffles. The dupatta had maroon accents. The model turned actor accessorized it with heavy kundan jewellery with pearls and stones. It included a teeka, jhoomar, choker and earrings. The groom, Saadain, opted for a classic black sherwani with a maroon pocket square to complement the bride’s outfit.

Areeba was dolled up by Natasha Ali Lakhani, who shared some BTS shots of her makeup session.

Iqra was seen in an off-white Hussain Rehar outfit. Mansha Pasha was also seen in an all-white ensemble. Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari kept it simple with black outfits.

Politician Sharmila Faruqi was also at the event, dressed in a red velvet kameez, embellished with threadwork. Anoushey Ashraf, Aiman Khan, Sumbul Iqbal Khan and Zhalay Sarhadi were more excited about the mehndi in the Shendi, hence they dressed up in colourful outfits. The guests also include Amar Khan, Sana Fakhar, Faiza Saleem, Yashma Gill, Fatima Effendi, Zoya Nasir, Maira Khan, Nadia Hussain, Aijaz Aslam, Misbah Mumtaz and many other models. Model Fouzia Aman was seen in an elegant black sari with a velvet blouse.
