In his address to the audience, Fawad spoke about the various improvements he and his team have made to bring Pakistani entertainment to the forefront and ensure the country has a chance to tell its stories to the world. He also invited the UAE community to produce films in Pakistan and collaborate with Pakistani talent to create content for the global audience. Singer-actor Ali Zafar and producer-actress Hareem Farooq were also present at the event. Ali Zafar, who performed at the world fair for a second time on Thursday, shared his gratitude. His film Teefa in Trouble, which was directed by Ahsan Rahim was the first to be screened at the festival. “Honoured that “Teefa in Trouble” was selected to open the Pakistan film festival,” he shared on Twitter.The Pakistan Pavilion was happy to have @fawadchaudhry – Federal Minister @moib_official, H.E.
