As a result of a rise in Covid-19 cases, Paramount Pictures has pushed the release of Tom Cruise films Top Gun: Maverick until May 2022 and Mission: Impossible 7 until September 2022. The news was confirmed by a spokesman for the ViacomCBS Inc studio.
The Top Gun sequel was initially set to release on November 19, but has been delayed multiple times during the pandemic. It will now debut on May 27, the date that M:I 7 was planned to be released. The release of M:I 7 is now moved to release on September 30, 2022.
