Ushna Shah, who we have recently seen in Aakhir Kab Tak and Parizaad, is all set to star in acclaimed director Zaheeruddin Ahmed’s crime-thriller. Being created under the banner of ‘Dareechay Films’, the currently untitled film is anticipated to be a fine piece of art and is wrapped in an essence of realism.
Ushna Shah will be seen playing the role of a cricketer in the upcoming film. Apart from Ushna Shah’s strong screen presence and Zaheeruddin’s direction, the upcoming film will also star Usman Mukhtar who was last seen in recently-concluded drama serial Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay and is a part of Sinf-e-Aahan as well. Usman will be seen playing the lead role as a police officer opposite Ushna Shah.
The film also features more stars power which will be revealed soon. However, the script that brings together exceptionally talented performers like Ushna Shah and Usman Mukhtar is surely worth the wait.
“I am so happy to be a part of this project and it’s something we have discussing for some years with Zaheer (bhai),” stated Usman Mukhtar in a press statement. “Really hope the audience will enjoy what we have been working on.”
Zaheeruddin, the director of I.D Creations, who established himself with popular ads like Kenwood and Kingtox, revealed in a press statement that the film is a fine amalgam of a great script and talented actors. The statement can also be backed up by Ushna Shah’s presence in the film since the actress’s work history is evidence that she has a great choice when it comes to choosing powerful scripts.
As far as the release of the anticipated film is concerned, it has been on the floors for a while and will wrap up its last schedule by the end of January 2022.
This will be Mukhtar’s forth feature film after Janaan, Parchi and the unreleased Umro Ayyar opposite Sanam Saeed.
