Though Pakistani film directors and producers have their fair share of reservations on
Dr. Strange’s release in Pakistan, particularly its timings, there is no denying the fact that even the Marvel giant has a Pakistani connection. Daughter of legendary singer, Atta Ullah Khan Esakhelvi, Laraib Atta is part of the visual effects team behind
Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Laraib got her big breakthrough at the age of 19 as Pakistan’s first and the youngest female visual effects artist in Hollywood. And since then, she is going from strength to strength. She has, once again, made Pakistan proud.
Laraib took to Instagram and shared her experience recently.
“Hope everyone is enjoying Dr Strange in the Multiverse of madness because I certainly enjoyed working on it. Congratulations to everyone at ILM for making this masterpiece. Feeling so grateful to be part of this latest MCU feature,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Her brother, Sanwal Esakhelvi, also shared the achievements of his talented sister on Instagram. And it’s evident that he is a proud sibling.
“This lady never stops shinning! My sister again worked on a blockbuster,” he wrote.
Her father is also proud of his children and praised them wholeheartedly.

This is not first of her achievements. Earlier this year, her team landed Oscar and BAFTA nominations for their work in the James Bond film,
No Time to Die. She has also worked with the Marvel Universe before
Dr Strange; she worked on the nine-episode seriesÂ
WandaVision, which garnered a total of 23 Emmy nods, including one for outstanding visual effects.
Previously, she has been a part of some great projects such as
 Godzilla, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, No Time To Die, Fast and Furious 9, Tenet, WandaVision and many more.
