Critically acclaimed fashion designer , Zaheer Abbas has made Pakistan proud by showcasing his collection at Colombo Fashion Week.
His collection “Dreaming Again” SS’2022 received positive feedback and applause from the audience as well as the critics.
According to the official description, the designer was inspired by coming back to a semblance of normality after two tumultuous years of the pandemic.
“The clothes themselves show that the language of beauty is a multi-faceted drama of creation and renewal, remembering and forgetting. All of the pieces are made of the humble cotton fabric, comfortably and uncritically adorned solely by hand screen prints of floral vines and fauna motifs,” read a post on Colombo Fashion Week’s Instagram page.
Zaheer presented his collection the first time at Colombo Fashion Week. He featured on Day 3 along with a great lineup up of designers.
What we love most about the collection featuring a simple color palette of , mostly beige, cream, black, and white along with gold is that the designs are very practical and wearable.
Zaheer Abbas already has an international clientele, as he has been stocking in London, Manchester and New York.
